Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day 2015

The fourth annual Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day brought more than 60 foster youth alumni from across the country to Capitol Hill for a day of shadowing members of Congress. They got a behind-the-scenes look at the House of Representatives and the opportunity to share their experiences in the child welfare system as a way to influence policy around foster care.

Res. 251 recognizing May as National Foster Care Month and encouraging Congress to implement policies to improve the lives of children in the foster care system.
